Mann River Campground and Picnic Area, Mann River Nature Reserve, NSW.

Mann River Campground
Individual site at Mann River Campground.
The Mann River Campground has recently been renovated. Each site has a table and fireplace. The sites are made from small crushed gravel which is ideal for vehicles but not quite so inviting for tents, especially as the sites are very open with no shade.

Mann River Campground and Picnic Shelter.
There is a large picnic shelter with tables and gas barbecues in the middle of the campground. The whole area overlooks the Mann River.

Mann River Nature Reserve Picnic Shelter.
I have always heard the campground referred to as the Mann River Campground but new signage indicates that it is named the Town of Mitchell Campground.

The information sign at Mann River Campground states that "camping fees apply"
The campground has also always been a free camp however the information sign states that "Camping fees apply". This leads me to wonder if there is a plan to charge in the near future. The facilities are certainly excellent. I checked online and as of April 2019 the NSW National Park and Wildlife Service still lists the campground as free.

Or from Grafton via Old Grafton Road, 138 km: very corrugated (March 2019) between Dalmorton and Mann River Nature Reserve.
