Dalmorton Campground, Guy Fawkes River National Park, NSW.

Open area at Dalmorton Campground.
We drove to Dalmorton Campground from Buccarumbi Bridge Campground in March. The Old Grafton Road is narrow but was in quite good condition in this section. It looked like it may have been recently graded. We turned left into Chaelundi Road at the old Dalmorton Village. Chaelundi Road had one section that was damaged by water erosion but was otherwise not bad.

Pay station.
There is a pay station in the campground for self registration. No bookings are taken. The campground was deserted when we were there mid-week. If you have a large group it would be best to contact the Glen Innes Office first although there seemed to be plenty of room.

Bush camping area.
There are different camping areas in the campground. There is an area with individual sites that have vehicle access and fire places. Another area is more open but the parking is behind bollards. There is also a separate area for groups.

Toilets behind the Picnic Area.
Picnic Area.
There are two toilets that are shared with the picnic area which has tables.

There are a few turnstiles in the fence between the campground and the river.
The back of the campground is fenced but there are turnstiles that allow access down to the Boyd River. The campground looked very dry but despite the dry years there is water flowing in the river.

Boyd River.

Ebor Falls, Guy Fawkes River National Park, NSW.

Ebor Falls
There is a lovely picnic area with plenty of parking at Ebor Falls. While we were there, golden everlasting daisies were flowering in profusion.

It is only a 700 m walk to the Lower Ebor Falls, or you can drive.

Lower Ebor Falls
We may have been there to see the falls but I couldn't resist a photo out over the valley as the sky was drawing my attention.

If you would like to take your time to explore while supporting the local community, the Ebor Sports and Recreation Area is a great little spot to stay the night.
